Roku – Bright Script Developers
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality and performant BrightScript applications for Roku® devices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional streaming experiences.
- Create user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces (UIs) that adhere to Roku® design guidelines.
- Implement features and functionalities using BrightScript syntax and Roku® APIs.
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs to maintain a smooth user experience on Roku® devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Roku® development and BrightScript.
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of professional experience as a Roku® BrightScript developer.
- Strong proficiency in BrightScript and Roku® SDK.
- Experience with Roku® development tools (BrightScript Editor, Roku® Developer Studio).
- Understanding of Roku® channel architecture and distribution process.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles for streaming applications (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
